What’s Your Story?™
Storytelling Workshops
We're thrilled to partner with Arlington Heights Memorial Library to offer storytelling workshops in June! Learn the art and craft of personal narrative storytelling in a two-part series lead by our producer and host, Diane Kastiel. This workshop is generously sponsored by the library and free of charge. Attendance is required at both sessions and, yes, there is homework (but it's super fun). Interested workshop participants may be considered for a spot in the lineup for our July show at the library!
Saturday, June 9 & 23
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Session 1 (June 9) will cover the building blocks of a good story, generating story ideas, and tips for telling a story with ease.
Yes, there's homework! But it's super fun: You'll be asked to generate a first draft of a 5-minute story for workshopping in Session 2.
Session 2 (June 23) will be devoted to sharing your story and getting feedback from the facilitator and group.
Both sessions will be held at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library:
Sorry, this workshop is full - but contact us to add your name to the list for future workshops.
